I’m extremely excited to say that with just under two days to go, we’ve hit our goal and then some.
If you just backed recently, check out the poll in the previous update, your input will determine how the credits are laid out on the cover.
Speaking of covers, though, there’s only $310 left to the variant cover stretch goal! Hopefully we hit it before the campaign is through in just about 46 hours.

As mentioned previously, this will be the last public preview page during the campaign, however once the campaign ends every single backer who pledged at any reward tier will get a print-quality PDF with pages 1-7 immediately after the campaign ends.

50 backers happened far, far sooner than expected, I'm genuinely amazed and grateful for everyone that's supported so far.
However, as a result of us getting to 50 so fast, Page 6 isn't quite complete yet...however that doesn't mean I can't at least show off the pencils for it:
The full page, complete with words/effects, should be posted in about 2-3 days. Think of this as a preview of a preview, of sorts.
While this will be the last preview page during the campaign itself, I can now announce that if the campaign is fully funded, anyone who's backed a reward tier, regardless of pledge amount, will immediately get a bonus PDF preview with highest-quality versions of the cover and pages 1-7 the evening that the campaign concludes.
Finally, the cover is getting a minor update, check that out below.

The response has been incredible so far, it's been five days and we're already past $1000! We've also been selected by Kickstarter as a "Project We Love", something that I absolutely never expected to happen!
As per the last update, since we hit 25 backers, I have another preview page for you all. However, his time around we're taking things back a bit with the title page, heretofore unposted due to some logo issues that had to be resolved first:

Also, to clear up a question I've been asked recently: The comic is roughly a T+ rating. It's a mystery story with mild language("god damn it")and some more serious violence near the end. It's not "Dark Knight" dark, but it isn't a light MCU-esque romp, either. I wouldn't exactly market it to a younger audience unless they particularly like the idea of plainclothes supervillians investigating strange conspiracies.
Finally, I've added a new "Firestarter + Add-Ons" tier that combines all the non-limited rewards and all the add-ons into one single tier that acts as a 12% discount compared to getting them all separately, for anyone interested in the "complete set" of physical rewards.
