Quick progress update

Things are going well. The story pages are just about halfway done, and things are on pace for a digital release in December, with physical estimated to start printing and hopefully shipping in the following month.

Surveys should happen sometime next month, just making sure that the little “one-third variant” cover is ready before I send them out.

As for any new visual previews, I really can’t show off any more full pages right now, because they all involve particular story/world elements that I really don’t want spoiled at all in advance of release. Instead, here’s a single panel of Shard, er, “Benjamin Miller” as he’s otherwise known, looking annoyed.

Here’s to a release before the end of the year!

It took about a week longer than I initially expected, but the KS payment finally cleared, meaning that production can fully resume.

Surveys will be going out early next month, and those who got either the “name or likeness in the story” tiers should look out for a message on Friday with more info on where that’ll show up, so those who got the latter might want to get reference images ready.

Here’s to a successful first issue, and hopefully many more!

Final days! (+ cover credit poll)

We're in the home stretch, and just crossed 75%! I'm incredibly grateful to all the backers so far, here's hoping that we reach the goal in the next couple days.

Now, for the actual printing/release of the comic, there's going to have to be some basic credit/issue text added to the cover. John, our cover artist, has given me a few different placement options for this, and I've decided to leave it up to you guys. Look over the three choices, then cast your vote in the update comments below. 

(Also, just to clarify, this added text will not appear on the poster, only the Firebreak/Starboard text will.)

There’s just under $250 left until the variant stretch goal, but even without that, the response these last few days has absolutely astounded me.

However, the poll regarding the cover’s credit placement has consistently been in a dead heat since it started. If you haven’t voted on it yet, definitely do so here.
