Six days left to redeem your digital download, and seven to get your surveys in!

The WeTransfer link that was emailed out on the 31st will expire on the 28th of this month. After that, you’ll have to DM us on Kickstarter to receive your digital copy if you have not already gotten it, though most of you already have. If you never saw the link, you should check your email for a message from WeTransfer that was sent on the 31st of last month.
Furthermore, the Backerkit surveys will lock the day after, on the 29th. While you will be able to update your address for two more weeks following the closure, all customization options(credits, covers, and digital sketch characters) will be finalized and add-ons will be locked.
Here’s to a fast print of the physical version!

You have until the 29th to answer, printing starts on the 31st. Even if you just got a digital copy, they’re still worth checking out in case you want to be known as something other than your exact KS username in the last-page credits.
Also, we now have a last-chance pre-order store, also running through the 29th.

Once everything goes to print, that will be the end of open availability for one of the two cover variants. Future campaigns from #2 onwards will definitely include previous issues as options, however the cover that those future backers get will be decided by a vote, so the more popular one gets sent out to all backers rather than each one getting an individual choice. I’d love to offer each variant indefinitely, however it’s just a bit too unsustainable to do so.
Here’s to a physical release next month!

Backers should have got an email from WeTransfer this morning with the digital copy.
As a reminder, physical(including the puzzle and posters) will start printing late next month, and shipping early Feb.
For those who have already checked out the digital copy, feel free to post your (spoiler-free, to be mindful of others) comments and reviews here! Very excited for the coming months, to see the physical copies get sent out, and for the next issue onwards.
Here’s to a successful digital comic launch!
Progress update, new variant, and second-chance campaign!

It’s certainly been a while, but we’ve been hard at work on the comic, and are still planning for a (digital) release before the end of the year, even if that means December 31st.
The reason that it’s been so long is that I didn’t exactly want to share any more of the internal art quite yet, due to the mystery aspect of it all, so I waited until I could finally show off this incredible variant cover, and announce a second-chance IndieGoGo to go with it.

Now, with said announcement, you might be a bit worried that we’re having funding issues, but that is absolutely not the case. Even if this campaign gets exactly $0, we will still be able to get the comic out digitally in late December, printed in late January, and shipped in early February. This is just a second-chance sort of thing mainly brought on from multiple requests by family and friends over the last few months, who missed the original KS run.
Also, since some of you are probably wondering, no, this new variant is not in any way exclusive to the IGG campaign. When surveys finally go out in early January, you will be able to choose between either version.
For a more in-depth reference of where we’re currently at, the final eight pages are being inked as we speak, and colored/lettered soon after. Work is about to start on the six ancillary pages, as in the credits/story setup/character bios. Our current projected schedule is as such:
Tonight: IndieGoGo begins
December 29th-31st: Digital comic releases to KS backers
January 4th: Surveys sent out to KS backers
January 7th: IGG ends
Late January: Printing starts through Comix Well Spring, IGG digital versions and surveys get sent out
Early February: KS shipping begins for everything except the supersized posters
Mid-February: IGG shipping begins for everything except the supersized posters
March: Supersized posters ship, Digital Extras Pack releases to backers, personalized Ryan Best sketches are sent out, Firebreak #1 appears on public storefronts like Comixology, and Firebreak #2’s KS campaign begins.
I’m extremely happy with how this first issue came out, and it’s only going to be about two weeks until you all can read it!
Here’s to a great release, and, er, don’t mind him, he doesn’t talk.
